Best continence aids I have found for my 11 year old with encopresis

We have tried the different night time nappies from the supermarkets and the white ones in xs for adults from other companies but none compare to these. My son has encopresis which means that he has fecal incontinence. These aren’t bulky and because of the design it doesn’t matter if his top goes up and the top of the nundies are seen as they look like underpants. My son also has eczema flair ups sometimes but these are so soft that we have never had any issues with them. Plus it’s great that they come in a plain box delivered to our front door so my son isn’t embarrassed by anyone seeing them

Best product by far I have tried for my 11 year old son with encopresis and other disabilities

My son has encopresis and so has fecal incontinence, not urinary incontinence. He is 11 and has other physical health issues as well as ASD. We have tried many different types, night time nappies from the supermarkets, and other pull ups from other company’s but we have found these are the best by far! They are discreet and not bulky so look like underwear if he happens to bend over and anyone sees them. They also don’t tear easily like some of the night time nappies from the supermarkets. My son also has very sensitive skin and has suffered from eczema most of his life and these are soft and don’t irritate his skin. And to top it all off, they are so easy to order and delivered to our front door in a plain box so my son doesn’t get embarrassed if friends are around when it arrives.

    They work!

I have an 8 year old who tends to store and release overnight, throw in that he is also a very restless sleeper and we generally end up with leaking, have tried countless products, including recommendations from the continence clinic with little success, however these worked! I'm ordering more!

Frequently Asked Questions

We have two size options to fit children aged from 4-7 years old and 8-15 years old.

Magics Youth Pants for ages 4-7 and 8-15 are our most popular brand for children and teens. Over 90% of those who reviewed our Magics pants would recommend them to a friend.

Our waterproof bedding and protectors are also a popular add-on for parents and carers shopping for youth pants. These help protect a child’s bed and any furniture they use from leaks and add an added layer of confidence and comfort to their incontinence experience.

Firstly check the weight of your child, this will help you understand which size is best:

  • - Magics Ages 4-7 (17-30kg)
  • - Magics Ages 8-15 (27-57kg)
  • - iD Comfy Juniors Ages 4-7 (17-27kg)

- iD Comfy Juniors Ages 8-15 (24-47kg)

Before putting the pants on your child, or before they put them on themselves, fold them in half lengthways and rub them a few times. This helps soften them so they’ll better mould to the body.

Then make sure the leak guards in the leg holes are flared upwards towards the waistband. This will ensure maximum protection against leaks. The pants should fit snug on the waist and legs without being uncomfortably tight.

The waistband and leg cuffs should fit securely - but not tight - against the body. As like when a nappy is too big, if a nappy is too small it can cause leaks. You can also judge whether the size is correct based on the weight suggestions on our youth pants.

If your child is over the age of 15 and requires incontinence pants, you can try the smaller sizes from our adult unisex range, such as our iD Pants Plus in Extra Small.

If you need any guidance, our team of product specialists will be more than happy to help!

Make sure the leak guards in the leg holes are flared upwards towards the waistband. This will ensure maximum protection against leaks. The pants should fit snugly on the waist and legs without being uncomfortably tight.

If you’ve done this and your child is still experiencing leaks, you may need to look at our unisex range of pull-ups as these hold more liquid. However, please note that the sizing does vary considerably.
We also recommend seeking advice from your child’s doctor for ongoing incontinence management.
