What is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was introduced by the Australian Government to support eligible Australians living with a permanent or significant disability. The NDIS is managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). The NDIS is a transformational approach to disability supports and services across Australia. It's the largest social reform since Medicare. At its core the scheme shifts the government funding of disability supports away from support providers directly to participants with disability support needs, encouraging a competitive marketplace for providers to compete and thereby improving the quality and range of offers to the benefit of participants.

NDIS supports participants in various ways, including helping them to:

1) build their skills to improve their ability to perform everyday tasks;

2) purchase NDIS consumable products such as incontinence pads from certain companies like ConfidenceClub; and

3) provide access to in-home care services or re-join the workforce.

Can I use my NDIS funding to buy products from ConfidenceClub?

Yes, ConfidenceClub is a fully audited, registered NDIS Provider of Consumables in the Core Category of Products for Personal Care and Safety.

What products can I buy with my NDIS funding?

The entire range of our incontinence-related products are category 1 or category 2 for NDIS funding, which means that you don’t require a continence assessment to purchase them on your plan. One of our continence product specialists can help you select the right product for your needs. However, you may also choose to see a continence nurse for guidance.

How do I use my NDIS funding to purchase products from ConfidenceClub?

Step 1:

Select and add all the products you need to your shopping cart

Step 2:

Click checkout as you would with any other online purchase

Step 3:

Depends on how your package has been setup:

SELF-Managed: place an order with full payment (e.g. credit card, PayPal) and you are emailed a tax invoice you can claim reimbursement on from the NDIA

AGENCY-Managed or PLAN-Managed: place an order with NDIS Payment as the payment method

Step 4: AGENCY-Managed or PLAN-Managed only

At the end of the ordering process you are prompted to fill out this short form to let us know the NDIS plan details as well as your plan manager contact details (PLAN-Managed only). You will only ever need to fill out this form on your first order.
