Let's take a closer look at some of the key features:
Magics pants implement patented Magical Tubes technology that creates channels for containing liquids within the absorption area and preventing spills out from the legs.
The absorbency figure we state is the absorbency it delivers, without leaking.
In the above image you can see one of our tests, showing the unused pant on the left and the same pant on the right showing that these pants are actually more absorbent than the stated 800mL.

The pants have a breathable backsheet to promote skin health. When dry the backsheet allows the skin to breath, and when wet they prevent liquid from escaping through the pant. To demonstrate this we filled the pants to their maximum rated absorbency, waited 5 minutes, placed a paper towel on the back and held it down with a small weight for 5 minutes. As you can see in the right hand image, the paper towel remains dry showing that no liquid passes through.
The soft internal layer that goes against the skin, called the topsheet, allows liquid through to the highly absorbent core where it is locked into an odour-neutralising gel that prevents the liquid from returning to the surface to irritate the skin. To demonstrate this we filled the pants to its maximum rated absorbency, waited 5 minutes, and placed a weight on a paper towel to see how much liquid returns to the surface. As you can see in the right hand image, the lack of liquid makes these pants almost magical.
